We have had a hot and busy day today at the farm, and our pre-picked berries are sold out for the evening.
We will be open for pick-your-own from 8-8 on Friday and 8-4 on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. It has been an excellent crop, but this hot weather is causing the berries to ripen very quickly and, of course, the size is not what it was last week.
We will have regular and sugar snap pea picking on Friday and Saturday as well. We will strive to provide pre-picked berries in our convenient parking lot location on Friday and Saturday. It may become difficult to meet the demand in this hot weather.
This hot weather will cause a shorter season. We will have picking on Monday morning at 8 o’clock, but I am unsure about picking conditions for the rest of next week at this point.
